PFit Global is seeking a talented and driven
DevOps Engineer to own and enhance our infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and automation workflows across modern cloud-native environments. You will work closely with engineering and product teams to build reliable, scalable, and secure platforms that support innovative software solutions for clients across multiple industries.
This is a hands-on, high-ownership role for someone who enjoys building resilient infrastructure, streamlining deployments, and continuously improving system performance. You'll have the opportunity to make independent technical decisions, drive automation initiatives, and maintain high standards for reliability, scalability, and security.
Key Responsibilities
As a DevOps Engineer, you will:
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tools to enable fast, reliable software delivery.
- Deploy, manage, and optimize containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes across development, staging, and production environments.
- Provision and maintain cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), primarily Terraform, ensuring consistency, scalability, and security.
- Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and observability solutions using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog, or similar.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement long-term preventive solutions.
- Develop automation scripts and internal tools using Python and/or Bash to improve operational efficiency.
- Enforce cloud security best practices, including identity and access management, secrets management, and infrastructure hardening.
- Collaborate with software engineering teams to support application deployments while maintaining platform reliability and performance.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, deployment guides, infrastructure diagrams, and operational runbooks.
- Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to infrastructure, automation, and DevOps processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Infrastructure Engineering.
- Strong experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
- Solid knowledge of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or equivalent tools.
- Proficiency in Python and/or Bash scripting for automation.
- Experience working with at least one major cloud platform, preferably AWS (Azure or Google Cloud experience is also valued).
- Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
- Good understanding of networking, Linux administration, DNS, load balancing, SSL/TLS, and cloud security principles.
- Knowledge of secrets management, IAM policies, and security best practices.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in startup or product-based environments.
- Experience with Helm, ArgoCD, FluxCD, or GitOps workflows.
- Knowledge of container security and vulnerability management.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
- AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or SysOps Administrator) are a plus.
