Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Azure cloud technologies, CI/CD automation, containerization, and Kubernetes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure, implementing DevOps best practices, and ensuring reliable application delivery across environments. Candidates with Azure certifications and production support experience will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Automate application deployments and release management processes.
- Build, manage, and optimize Docker containers and container images.
- Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters (AKS preferred)
- Support infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred).
- Develop automation scripts using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Work with Git repositories and follow version control best practices.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve deployment efficiency, scalability, and system reliability.
- Monitor production environments, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, and implement performance improvements.
- Follow security, compliance, and operational best practices in cloud environments.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, including CI/CD pipeline creation, deployment automation, and release management.
- Strong experience with Docker for containerization and image management.
- Good understanding of Kubernetes (AKS preferred), including cluster administration and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience managing Azure infrastructure and cloud services.
- Basic working knowledge of AWS services
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform (preferred).
- Proficiency in scripting using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Strong knowledge of Git and version control workflows.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Mandatory Certification
Candidates must possess at least one of the following certifications:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
Preferred Qualifications
- Azure certifications (AZ-104 or AZ-400) are highly preferred.
- Hands-on experience working with production cloud environments.
- Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
- Exposure to cloud security best practices and DevOps governance.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
