Role Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive DevOps Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining fully automated pipelines, managing our cloud infrastructure, and ensuring the reliability of our systems across both Windows and Linux environments. You will take full ownership of your projects, collaborate closely with internal teams, and communicate directly with our global client base.
Because we support a global operation, this role requires flexibility to work across different shifts (including mornings and nights).
Key Responsibilities
- Pipeline Automation: Design, build, deploy, and maintain fully automated CI/CD pipelines from scratch to streamline our software delivery process.
- Cloud Infrastructure Management: Provision, manage, and optimize cloud resources. Take a hands-on lead with AWS infrastructure, while applying your working knowledge of Azure and GCP.
- Server Administration: Manage, configure, and troubleshoot both Windows and Linux server environments to ensure high availability and performance.
- System Monitoring & Alerting: Implement, configure, and maintain robust monitoring and logging solutions using industry-standard tools (CloudWatch, Sumo Logic, Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog).
- Proactive Problem Solving: Anticipate potential system bottlenecks or failures and independently architect proactive, scalable solutions before they impact production.
- Global Client Communication: Act as a technical liaison, communicating complex solutions clearly and professionally to clients located across the globe.
- Team Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless deployments and reliable system operations.
- Complete Ownership: Take end-to-end responsibility for your assigned tasks, from initial design through to successful, on-time delivery.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of proven, hands-on experience in a DevOps or Cloud Engineering role.
- Cloud Platforms: Strong hands-on expertise in AWS is mandatory. A solid foundational knowledge of Azure and GCP is highly preferred.
- CI/CD: Demonstrated experience creating and managing fully automated deployment pipelines from scratch (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar).
- OS Management: Proficiency in administering both Linux and Windows servers.
- Monitoring Tools: Hands-on experience with modern observability and monitoring stacks, specifically in AWS CloudWatch, Sumo Logic, Grafana, Prometheus and Datadog
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills, with the confidence and clarity to interact directly with global clients.
- Work Ethic: A strong sense of accountability and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Work Environment & Schedule
Shift Flexibility: This role requires the ability to work flexible hours to support global operations, including rotational shifts.
Morning shift (6am to 3pm)
General shift (11am-8pm)
Night shift (5pm to 2am).
