We're partnering with a well-funded infrastructure software company that's building a cloud platform used by engineering teams developing highly complex, mission-critical systems. Their technology helps organisations manage testing, operational data and engineering workflows across large-scale hardware and software environments.
They're looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join their growing engineering team, taking ownership of the cloud infrastructure that underpins a modern developer platform. This is an opportunity to work on technically challenging distributed systems, helping to improve developer experience, automate deployments and scale infrastructure that supports customers operating at the cutting edge of aerospace, autonomous systems and advanced engineering.
What You'll Do
- Design, build and maintain scalable AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Develop and optimise CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment speed and reliability.
- Manage Kubernetes environments supporting production workloads.
- Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Crossplane or similar tools.
- Improve developer workflows through automation and standardised environments.
- Implement monitoring, logging and alerting using modern observability platforms.
- Partner closely with software engineers to improve platform reliability and scalability.
- Drive continuous improvements across cloud infrastructure, tooling and deployment processes.
- Travel to customer sites approximately 1-2 times per month when required.
Who We're Looking For
- 4+ years' experience in Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps, Platform or Software Engineering.
- Strong AWS experience within production environments.
- Hands-on Kubernetes experience.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tools.
- Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform, Crossplane or equivalent.
- Experience with observability tools such as Datadog or Prometheus.
- Strong programming or scripting skills using Python, Go and/or Bash.
- Experience supporting distributed systems or cloud-native platforms.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a passion for improving engineering productivity.
