Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced JFrog Administrator to manage, optimize, and secure our enterprise binary repository and DevSecOps pipelines. In this role, you will oversee the full JFrog platform suite, automate operational workflows, and collaborate with application teams to scale our CI/CD infrastructure. This position includes participating in a 24/7 on-call rotation to ensure high availability for global engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Platform Management: Administer and maintain JFrog Artifactory, Xray, and advanced platform components.
- Pipeline Automation: Design and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Terraform, and Ansible.
- Team Onboarding: Partner with development teams to onboard them onto GitLab workflows and branching strategies.
- Security & Compliance: Implement guardrails and policies to enforce code quality, license compliance, and security tracking.
- Infrastructure Support: Deploy and scale containerized workloads across cloud and hybrid environments.
- Operations & On-Call: Troubleshoot pipeline failures, manage system incidents, and participate in 24/7 on-call support.
- Documentation: Create and update engineering runbooks, internal wiki pages, and reusable pipeline templates.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of dedicated experience in JFrog Artifactory and Xray administration.
- JFrog Ecosystem: Working knowledge of Advanced Security, Curation, Runtime, Distribution, and AppTrust.
- DevOps Tooling: Hands-on experience with GitLab CI, Terraform, and Ansible.
- Containerization: Practical understanding of Kubernetes and OpenShift orchestration platforms.
- Cloud Architecture: Familiarity with major cloud infrastructure providers (AWS, Azure, and IBM Cloud).
- Software Delivery: Solid understanding of SDLC methodologies and branching workflows (Gitflow, GitLab Flow).
- Soft Skills: Strong technical communication skills with a proven history of successful cross-team collaboration.
