Overview
We are seeking a Senior / Lead DevOps Engineer with 7-10+ years of hands-on experience in designing, deploying, and managing scalable cloud-native infrastructure in production environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AWS, EKS, Terraform, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC), with the ability to lead DevOps initiatives, mentor engineers, and drive infrastructure best practices across teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and maintain highly available CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments.
- Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Lead Kubernetes platform administration and production container orchestration.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and operational tasks using Terraform and Python.
- Drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices across engineering teams.
- Ensure system reliability, scalability, security, observability, and performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production and infrastructure issues.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and architecture teams to streamline release processes.
- Define DevOps standards, governance, and deployment strategies.
Must-Have Skills
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or Platform Engineering.
- Strong expertise with AWS services (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, CloudWatch, EKS, Route 53, ALB/NLB, Auto Scaling).
- Extensive hands-on experience with Kubernetes (EKS preferred).
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform (CloudFormation knowledge is a plus).
- Expertise in Docker and containerization.
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
- Proficiency in Python or Shell scripting for automation.
- Strong understanding of Linux, networking, DNS, load balancing, and security best practices.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch, or Datadog.
- Experience managing production-grade, highly available cloud environments.
