As a DevOps Engineer - Intern, Specialist, you will engage in the dynamic world of software and product innovation, contributing to the development and enhancement of software engineering projects. Within our Cloud Engineering, Data & Analytics network, you will apply your technical skills to support client-facing initiatives, driving value through innovative solutions. As a Specialist, you will provide specialized advice, handle technical tasks, and conduct in-depth analyses to support specific projects. You will adapt to a fast-paced environment, take ownership of your work, and consistently deliver quality results that contribute to the team's success.
In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver impactful solutions, leveraging your technical knowledge and analytical skills. Your contributions will be integral to the success of our software engineering projects, where you will have the opportunity to grow and develop within our supportive and innovative environment.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the development and deployment of software solutions within a cloud engineering environment
- Conducting in-depth analyses of software engineering processes to identify areas for improvement
- Assisting in the management of application lifecycle, including development, testing, and maintenance
- Implementing Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline software deployment
- Collaborating with teams to design and develop scalable microservices architectures
- Utilizing programming languages such as Java, Python, and JavaScript to build and enhance software applications
- Engaging in debugging and troubleshooting to resolve software issues efficiently
- Participating in code reviews to maintain coding standards and improve software quality
- Applying knowledge of software development methodologies to support project planning and execution
- Contributing to the integration of enterprise application architecture and software design principles
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 1 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
What Sets You Apart
- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Artificial Intelligence, Business Analytics, Computer and Data Engineering, Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems/Technology, Machine Learning, Management Information Systems, Software Engineering
- Demonstrating proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++
- Utilizing knowledge of software development methodologies like Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD)
- Applying skills in API Management and Microservices for cloud engineering projects
- Excelling in application development using platforms like Mendix or OutSystems
- Conducting in-depth analyses for business process improvement and management
- Supporting client projects with specialized knowledge in software engineering
