As a DevOps Engineer - Intern, Specialist, you will engage in the dynamic field of Software and Product Innovation, focusing on Software Engineering. Within our Cloud Engineering, Data & Analytics network, you will contribute to the development and deployment of innovative software solutions. As a Specialist, you will provide specialized technical knowledge, handling detailed tasks and in-depth analyses to support specific projects. You will adapt to a fast-paced environment, take ownership of your work, and consistently deliver quality results that drive value for clients and contribute to the team's success.
In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance software engineering processes and practices. Your role will involve applying your technical skills to support client-facing projects, confirming that solutions are effectively implemented and maintained. Responsibilities
- Supporting the development and maintenance of software applications using programming languages such as Java, Python, and C++
- Assisting in the implementation of Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline software deployment processes
- Participating in code reviews to uphold coding standards and improve software quality
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements for software projects
- Engaging in debugging and troubleshooting to resolve software issues and enhance system performance
- Contributing to the design and architecture of enterprise applications, focusing on scalability and integration
- Utilizing Application Lifecycle Management tools to manage software development projects effectively
- Implementing quality assurance testing to validate software functionality and reliability
- Developing microservices and leveraging REST and SOAP clients for seamless application integration
- Applying object-oriented design principles to create robust and maintainable software solutions
- Supporting the adoption of agile methodologies to enhance project delivery and team collaboration
- Engaging in business process improvement initiatives to optimize software development workflows
- Assisting in the management of application frameworks and platforms such as Appian and Mendix for efficient software development
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 1 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required

- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Artificial Intelligence, Business Analytics, Computer and Data Engineering, Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems/Technology, Machine Learning, Management Information Systems, Software Engineering
- Demonstrating proficiency in Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD)
