Title: DevOps Engineer
Duration: 6-month contract to hire
Location: Indianapolis - hybrid 2-3x week onsite or Newark DE
Must haves:
- 5+ years or more experience in an IT/DevOps Engineering role
- Strong AWS experience/environmental exposure
- Hands on work /building Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and/or Cloud Formation)
- Strong scripting skills in Powershell/Bash/Python
- Well Rounded and Generalist mindset and ability to adapt across technologies and projects
Plusses:
- Experience with Docker
- Familiarity with ECS Fargate or EKS
- Basic programming experience in:
- Java
- Node.js
- Exposure to .NET (helpful for troubleshooting, not required for development)
- Experience supporting or training teams on DevOps tooling and processes
Day to Day:
- Partner with a project team to build a rules engine platform
- Stand up and manage cloud infrastructure in AWS
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Implement and manage infrastructure as code solutions
- Help onboard teams and get them up to speed with tools and processes
- Provide guidance on delivering software efficiently
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and pipeline issues
- Collaborate with both infrastructure and development teams
- Support debugging, problem-solving, and process improvements
