Role Description The Senior DevOps role at BAMKO is a full-time, on-site position based in Dehradun. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure to support BAMKO’s software platforms. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing CI/CD pipelines, automating deployment and configuration processes, monitoring system performance, and troubleshooting issues across development, staging, and production environments. The Senior DevOps professional collaborates closely with software development teams to streamline integrations, optimize release workflows, and ensure reliable application delivery. This role also involves mentoring team members, implementing best practices for infrastructure-as-code, and contributing to ongoing improvements in reliability, observability, and security.
Qualifications
- Strong background with minimum 5 years of DevOps , DevSecops, Software Integration, with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams and optimize build and deployment workflows.
- Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration practices and tools, including designing, maintaining, and improving CI/CD pipelines for complex applications.
- Proficiency in Kubernetes for container orchestration, including deployment, scaling, monitoring, and managing microservices-based architectures.
- Advanced knowledge of Linux systems administration, shell scripting, and performance tuning in production environments.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, or similar) and configuration management.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or GCP) and related services for networking, storage, and security.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex system issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of working in cross-functional, fast-paced environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in a senior DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure role is highly beneficial.
