Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an AWS Administrator at Arizon Digital USA. The AWS Administrator will manage and maintain the AWS environment, including server instances, storage resources, and security. Daily tasks include monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues, optimizing resources, and contributing to infrastructure and security projects. The AWS Administrator will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth operation of e-commerce platforms.
We seek an experienced AWS Administrator with a strong background in Terraform to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will manage and maintain our AWS cloud infrastructure and ensure the deployment of scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on AWS. The AWS Administrator will work closely with the development team to automate infrastructure provisioning and management tasks using Terraform.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud environments for high availability, scalability, and fault tolerance using best practices and industry standards.
• Develop, maintain, and version control Terraform scripts to manage AWS resources such as EC2, VPC, RDS, S3, IAM, SES, SQS, etc..
• Monitor the health and usage of AWS services, and proactively address any performance, scalability, or security issues.
• Collaborate with developers and other IT staff to support the CI/CD pipeline and integrate infrastructure builds with application deployment processes.
• Implement and manage security and compliance policies for AWS infrastructure, ensuring adherence to industry regulations and company standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to AWS services and Terraform configurations.
Qualifications
Experience in AWS administration, including EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, and VPC.
Strong experience with AWS services and understanding of AWS architecture best practices.
Proficient with Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) implementations, with a deep understanding of Terraform syntax, workflows, and state management.
Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems and scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python).
Familiarity with cloud architectural best practices and security principles.
Experience with infrastructure automation tools and frameworks (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform).
Understanding of networking concepts, such as TCP/IP, DNS, and load balancers.
Knowledge of database management (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and backup/recovery procedures.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, ELK stack).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferably a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
