Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with strong expertise in AWS Cloud to build, optimize, and maintain scalable data pipelines and cloud-based data platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS data services, ETL/ELT development, Python, SQL, and modern data engineering practices.
- Minimum 9+ years of IT experience.
- Strong hands-on experience of designing and developing frameworks for UI and Services, leveraging Java, Python and open-source technology stack.
- Must be strong in Python with Pytest & Pyspark exp.
- Must be strong in AWS implementations.
- Must have strong SQL & Unix shell scripting experience.
- Must have basic ETL transformation experience.
- Strong understanding of Development methodologies.
- Must be hands on technology and able to troubleshoot critical issues in design or code.
- Hands on experience with Web Services.
- Strong experience with code review and evaluate the architecture as well as design towards a set of business and technology goals .
- Have Strong Verbal/Nonverbal communication skills.
- Excellent team player and ability to collaborate with peers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines on AWS.
- Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows to process large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
- Develop data solutions using Python and SQL.
- Work with AWS services including S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, EMR, Athena, IAM, and CloudWatch.
- Implement data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration processes.
- Optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Ensure data quality, security, governance, and compliance across the data platform.
- Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable data solutions.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and support production data pipelines.
- Follow DevOps and CI/CD best practices for deployment and automation.
