A leading organization in the consumer goods industry is seeking a skilled DevOps / Platform Engineer to join their team in Atlanta, GA. Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, platform, or infrastructure engineering
- Extensive experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Proficient in infrastructure as code with Terraform, Bicep, ARM, or equivalent tools
- Hands-on experience with Azure cloud engineering
- Strong understanding of monitoring, observability, and security best practices
- Automation-first mindset with a track record supporting product teams and platform engineering
- Experience deploying across multiple environments with strategy and attention to risk management
- Familiarity with product operating models emphasizing outcome ownership and collaboration
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and hold technical positions under challenge
- An AI-first approach in engineering practices is highly desirable
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain reliable, efficient CI/CD pipelines to support rapid delivery cycles
- Define and implement infrastructure as code to ensure environment reproducibility and version control
- Design multi-environment deployment strategies, including promotion and rollback procedures
- Build comprehensive monitoring and observability solutions for production environments
- Embed security best practices into all phases of the delivery pipeline, including scanning and secrets management
- Collaborate directly with product teams, serving as a trusted platform provider, and incorporate their feedback
- Automate manual tasks to streamline processes and remove potential errors
- Ensure work meets the full Definition of Done, including code review, static analysis, and security checks
