Our client in the greater Salt Lake City, Utah area is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to join their team on a contract-to-hire basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced cloud professional to design, build, and support highly available cloud environments while partnering closely with software engineering and infrastructure teams.

- 100% onsite (5 days per week in Murray, UT)

Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Lead cloud architecture and infrastructure initiatives supporting enterprise applications
- Automate infrastructure deployments and operational processes
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to deliver reliable cloud solutions.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and optimize cloud performance.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership on cloud initiatives.
- Promote cloud security, operational excellence, and infrastructure best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- 7+ years of systems, infrastructure, or cloud engineering experience
- 3+ years of cloud experience.
- Strong experience supporting Linux-based environment.
- Experience working closely with development and operations teams.
