About The Role
The role owns the design, implementation, and scaling of core backend services and APIs powering user-facing products and high-throughput microservices.
The engineering team works across the full backend stack to solve complex architectural challenges where low latency, fault tolerance, and data consistency are paramount.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable, secure RESTful and GraphQL APIs using Node.js, Python, or Go for distributed microservices architecture
- Optimize relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, Redis, and DynamoDB for performance, data integrity, and high availability
- Implement containerized deployments and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes within AWS or GCP cloud environments
- Write comprehensive unit, integration, and load tests to maintain high code quality and system reliability standards
- Participate in technical design reviews, code reviews, and on-call rotations to ensure operational excellence across services
What We Are Looking For
- 3–6 years of professional software engineering experience specializing in backend systems and distributed architectures
- Strong proficiency in at least one modern backend programming language such as Python, Go, or TypeScript/Node.js
- Demonstrated experience designing and maintaining production databases, caching layers, and message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform
- Bonus: Experience building event-driven architectures, contributing to open-source projects, or holding a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
