Summary
The AWS Database Architect (I) will assist in the management and maintenance of our AWS environments, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability of our cloud infrastructure.
Responsibilities
● Deploy, manage, and operate scalable and fault-tolerant systems on AWS.
● Monitor and optimize AWS resources and services for performance and availability.
● Maintain documentation of AWS infrastructure, configurations, and operational procedures.
● Assist in implementing security measures, including IAM policies and compliance standards.
● Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions to ensure data integrity.
● Use automation tools and scripting languages to streamline deployment processes.
● Collaborate internally and externally to support application deployments in the AWS environment.
Minimum Qualifications
● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent experience.
● 1 or more years of hands-on experience managing AWS environments
● 3 or more years experience working with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and IAM.
● 3 or more years experience with basic scripting knowledge in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Preferred Qualifications
● AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate or equivalent.
