Senior Cloud Engineer - AWS - F.S Client - NEW YORK CITY
A Senior Cloud Engineer is required to join a global F.S Client in New York (4 days a week onsite) Ideally you will have a deep understanding of core AWS cloud services including networking, storage solutions, load balancing, containers, messaging, serverless architectures, and monitoring/logging.
You will have a track record of successful end-to-end project delivery from conception to production deployment as well as experience collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams including developers, business stakeholders, and senior management.
Key Skills-
- A great understanding of most of the core AWS services.
- Building and using containers in production
- Understands the core concepts around how a applications communicate when using service meshes
- Strong skills in automation, configuration management, and infrastructure as code.
- Great written and oral communication skills.
- Strong with both Cloud and On-prem infrastructure (physical servers, BIOS, RAID arrays, NICs)
- Understanding the feature sets of the newer AWS services
- A security-mindset with a sane balance of wide-open vs overly conservative
