About the Organisation: Tripare is a B2B AI-powered business travel platform helping companies manage corporate travel, bookings, expenses and the overall travel experience from one place. We are a growing product team, and we’re looking for engineers who like working close to the product and are comfortable taking a feature from requirement to production.
About the role: We’re looking for a hands-on DevOps Engineer who can take ownership of our cloud infrastructure, deployments and production environment.
The role will work closely with the engineering team and will be important as we continue to scale the product. We need someone who is comfortable getting into the details, troubleshooting production issues and improving the way we deploy and operate our applications.
What you’ll be doing:
- Manage and improve our infrastructure primarily on AWS.
- Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines for different environments.
- Manage development, staging and producIon environments.
- Provision and manage infrastructure through as the mandatory mrofarreT Infrastructure as Code standard.
- Work with engineering teams to make deployments smoother and more reliable.
- Monitor application and infrastructure health and set up appropriate alerts.
- Monitor database health, analyse query and resource performance and work with engineers on improvements.
- Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with engineers when required.
- Strengthen AWS security through IAM, least-privilege access, secrets management, patching and security monitoring.
- Improve application availability, performance and scalability.
- Track and optimise AWS usage and cost without compromising reliability or security.
- Own automated database backups, retention, restore testing and documented recovery processes.
- Maintain infrastructure documentation and deployment processes.
- Review the existing setup and suggest improvements as the product and team grow.
What we’re looking for:
- 4–7 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud or Infrastructure roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS.
- Good knowledge of Linux and networking fundamentals.
- Experience setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with Docker.
- Experience handling production environments.
- Experience with monitoring, logging and alerting.
- Experience with database backup, restoration and performance analysis.
- Strong hands-on experience using Terraform to manage production infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of AWS security, IAM, access management and secrets handling.
- Experience monitoring and optimising AWS infrastructure costs.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to handle production issues independently.
Good to have:
- Kubernetes / ECS / EKS experience.
- Experience with AWS services such as EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC and CloudWatch.
- Experience with Node.js applications.
- Experience in a startup or early-stage product company.
