Overview
The Senior DevOps Engineer plays a crucial role in our organization by leading the DevOps team to ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of our infrastructure and applications. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain best practices for continuous integration, continuous delivery, and automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery.
- Automate and optimize infrastructure, leveraging cloud technologies.
- Develop and maintain tools for monitoring and logging.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve application performance and reliability.
- Implement and manage containerization technologies.
- Ensure security best practices are implemented throughout the infrastructure.
- Lead initiatives to improve system and application deployment processes.
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide support for production systems.
- Collaborate with the network team to optimize system and application performance.
- Conduct regular performance and security assessments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or related role.
- Proven experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Expertise in scripting and automation using tools like Python, Shell, or PowerShell.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- In-depth knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, etc.
- Experience with infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
