Location: Roswell, GA - onsite 3-4 days a week
What You'll Do
- This is a hands-on role where most of your time will be writing code assisting the client engineering team by automating technology infrastructure, system management, and application monitoring.
- Configuring Azure DBs, networks, and terraform scripts in addition to other infrastructure as code activities.
- Bring a level of Energy, drive, and ownership to knock down barriers and get things done.
- Work with clients designing, developing, and supporting systems.
- Look at the bigger picture; understand how the technology will fit within the client’s ecosystem and consider how the technology will impact people and processes.
- Mentor engineers on SRE best practices.
- Update the client on team progress, challenges, and risks.
- Design, build, and maintain high-quality technology solutions that deliver an exceptional customer experience.
- Boost team velocity by developing and implementing quality code in line with Acceptance Criteria and Definition Of Done.
- Must be located in the Atlanta area. Sit co-located with the client physically in the office most days.
What You'll Bring
- 6+ years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer.
- 2+ years of experience with ADO (Azure DevOps).
- Experience developing software in a cloud-based environment (e.g. Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure DevOps).
- Experience with Terraform.
- Consulting experience or experience working with a client relationship.
- Positive attitude and an ability to work well on an exciting project with client and Experient Group team members.
- Maintain clean “code hygiene” and adhering to coding standards (formatting and documenting code, code merges with other engineer’s code).
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Passion for learning and a passion for solving business problems with technology.
- Experience working with APIs.
- Familiarity / experience with GIT.
- Strong, collaborative team player.
- Able to work independently.
