Job Description
As a DevOps Engineer at StatusNeo, you will be responsible for deploying, automating, maintaining, and managing production systems and infrastructure. You will collaborate with software developers, system operators, and other IT staff members to manage code releases and ensure that operations are smooth and efficient.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Automate deployment, monitoring, and management of infrastructure on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Implement infrastructure as code using configuration management tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth deployment of applications.
- Ensure security best practices are implemented and followed.
- Proactively identify and implement improvements to infrastructure and processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI).
- Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, Shell scripting).
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong knowledge of networking, security, and infrastructure best practices.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator) are a plus.
- Experience with microservices architecture and serverless computing.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK Stack).
