Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
- Manage and optimize containerized applications using Docker.
- Implement and manage Kubernetes clusters (EKS on AWS and AKS on Azure).
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and reliability of services using monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, and New Relic.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.
- Implement best practices for security, backup, and disaster recovery.
- Manage DNS and networking configurations using Route 53, CloudFront, and VPC on AWS.
- Handle storage solutions and data management with AWS S3, EBS, and Azure Blob Storage.
- Design and manage network configurations including DNS, subnets, and routing.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles.
- Cloud Platforms:
- AWS: S3, EC2, IAM, Route 53, CloudFront, VPC, EBS, EKS
- Azure: AKS, Blob Storage, VM, Vnet, Load Balancer, Service Principal, PostgreSQL
- CI/CD Tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure Devops
- Containerization: Docker
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proficiency with Terraform.
- Monitoring Tools: Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, and New Relic.
- Networking: Strong knowledge of DNS, subnetting, and routing.
- Scripting and Automation: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python.
- Version Control: Strong understanding of version control systems, especially Git.
- Security: Understanding of best practices in cloud security and experience implementing security measures.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Azure (e.g. Azure Administrator Associate, DevOps Engineer Expert) or AWS (e.g. AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Professional)
- Experience with serverless architectures and microservices.
- Knowledge of database management and optimization.
Good to Have:
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365.
- Experience in working at early-stage startups with a small team
