Position Overview:
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Junior DevOps Engineer with 1.5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. As a Junior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our infrastructure, ensuring the seamless deployment and operation of our applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and manage Prometheus to monitor system and application metrics.
- Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment, testing, and monitoring of software applications.
- Work closely with development teams to understand their requirements and provide support for integrating automation and deployment processes into their workflows.
- Learn to implement and manage infrastructure as code to ensure consistent and scalable infrastructure deployments.
- Help monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability of production environments.
- Assist in implementing best practices for securing infrastructure and applications in collaboration with security teams.
- Stay updated with new technologies, tools, and processes to improve the DevOps workflow and increase efficiency.
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide timely response to incidents, performing root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures.
- Document processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintain system integrity.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory
- Fresh graduates or individuals with 1-1.5 years of experience in DevOps preferred
- Internship or project experience in DevOps is a plus
- Hands-on experience with Prometheus
- Exposure to Linux administration (Linux or Red Hat)
- Basic understanding of Kubernetes concepts and operations
- Basic knowledge of MySQL database management and administration
- Knowledge of security best practices
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Additional Info:
Location: Remote
Monthly Compensation (All Fixed): 50k-50k per month
Working days: 5 days a week
Working hours: Flexible
