Role Description
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join a collaborative engineering team focused on automating deployment processes, improving operational efficiency, and supporting vulnerability remediation initiatives. The role involves designing and implementing scalable CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud infrastructure, supporting containerized applications, and working closely with distributed teams to deliver secure and reliable software releases across multiple environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to replace manual deployment processes across development, testing, UAT, and production environments.
- Utilize Azure Cloud services to support scalable, secure, and reliable application deployments.
- Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform to provision and maintain cloud resources in a repeatable and auditable manner.
- Manage containerized applications running on Kubernetes, ensuring deployment processes follow industry best practices.
- Develop automation utilities and deployment tooling using scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Integrate security and compliance controls into deployment pipelines, including vulnerability scanning and remediation workflows.
- Work with security tools such as Wiz, Checkmarx, or similar SAST/container scanning solutions to support secure software delivery and compliance requirements.
- Support identity and access management requirements within deployment workflows, including exposure to IAM or Okta solutions.
- Collaborate with engineering teams across multiple geographic locations to communicate technical decisions, progress updates, and project risks.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement activities.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation, deployment runbooks, and operational procedures.
- Conduct peer reviews of pipeline configurations, infrastructure code, and automation solutions to promote engineering best practices.

- 7+ years of experience working with Azure-based cloud solutions and DevOps practices.
- 5+ years of experience implementing and managing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Strong experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working in regulated or enterprise environments.
- Experience supporting containerized application deployments.
Certifications
- Relevant Microsoft Azure certifications such as:
- AZ-400: DevOps Engineer Expert
- AZ-104: Azure Administrator
