About you:
As part of the rapidly growing Innomate team, you will play a crucial role in delivering Innomate’s vision to our many clients in the corporate and education space. You will be nurtured, afforded flexible working arrangements, and take on an increasingly vital role within the company as your skillset develops and matures.
While we view the skills you bring as secondary to a good attitude and work ethics, we have listed below some skills and experiences which would give your application an edge. We value candidates with a broad range of skills and experience, and encourage you to highlight any other experience you have which could be beneficial to Innomate.
- At least 2 years of experience architecting, implementing and supporting solutions in Amazon Web Services (AWS), across a wide range of their services whilst implementing security best practices (we are heavy users of VPC, IAM, S3, API Gateway, Cognito, Lambda, DynamoDB, Route53, Systems Manager, ECS, EKS, EC2, SNS, SQS, CloudWatch).
- At least a moderate level of experience developing in the Python programming language. Any experience with Bash scripting, JavaScript/TypeScript (especially Angular) or C# would also be valuable.
- Ability to recommend Git source control workflows, and designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines which generate positive security and quality outcomes. Experience Bitbucket Pipelines and AWS CodeBuild / CodePipeline would be particularly advantageous.
- Experience packaging, testing and maintaining web applications in Docker containers (particularly using NGINX and Python) and orchestrating containerised applications using AWS ECS and/or Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in at least one Cloud focused Infrastructure as Code tool - preferably CDK or CloudFormation - and the ability to capture existing infrastructure into IaC .
- Practical understanding of tools used for managing multi-account and multi-region architectures in AWS including infrastructure orchestration, monitoring and security.
- Experience configuring integrations with third-party single sign on (SSO) systems using industry standards such as SAML or OpenID.
- Understanding of physical and cloud networking concepts including basic subnet and firewall design, VPN connections, transit gateways and multi-VPC peering.
- Monitoring and observability, including high volume log collection, transformation, dashboarding and alerting - ideally using both CloudWatch and the ELK stack.
