WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Oversee the end-to-end management of AWS infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Design, build, and maintain core services including EC2, ECS/EKS, RDS, DynamoDB, S3, ALB, VPC, and IAM.
- Implement monitoring solutions to enhance observability of the system's performance and reliability.
- Automate system processes to improve efficiency and reduce the likelihood of errors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize deployment pipelines and enhance overall workflows.
- Conduct regular performance reviews of the infrastructure to identify bottlenecks and areas for enhancement.
- Develop and uphold best practices in cloud security and compliance across the architecture.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Proven expertise in managing AWS services such as EC2, ECS/EKS, RDS, DynamoDB, S3, ALB, VPC, and IAM.
- Solid understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) principles and familiarity with tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Demonstrated experience in automating processes using scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or others.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and optimize infrastructure environments.
- Experience with container orchestration, particularly Kubernetes or Docker, in production settings.
NICE TO HAVE
- Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Git, or CircleCI for CI/CD practices.
- Experience in managing and deploying serverless architectures using AWS Lambda.
- Knowledge of networking concepts and security best practices in cloud environments.
