The Role
As a Devops Engineer you will be a key contributor in maintaining the availability, performance and security of our core platform and also work across areas such as data pipelines and dev tooling. Further, you will have the opportunity to shape the way the organisation builds and delivers products in a manageable and maintainable way.
You will:
● Be responsible for the continuous monitoring and remediation of production and build pipeline issues
● Debug and troubleshoot code, feeding back improvements
● Continuously improve our monitoring and alerting systems
● Build tooling to assist with operations and security (e.g. user access management, automated auditing)
● Ensure that the pipeline from development to production remains unblocked and efficient
Your Background
● A strong developer (language agnostic)
● Experience in using Infrastructure as Code(IaC)
● Experience with cloud computing preferably AWS
● Familiar with containerized platforms
● Familiar with monitoring and observability using tools like sumologic, datadog etc
● A structured and consistent approach to troubleshooting
● Approach work with high-energy, drive and internal motivation
● Exhibit adaptability, resilience, transparency, trustworthiness, passion and innate curiosity
● Ability to work well in a team setting.
