Job Description:
As a DevOps Engineer at Underpin Services, you will play a crucial role in streamlining our development pipeline, ensuring seamless integration and delivery of our projects. You will work closely with our development and operations teams to automate processes, enhance system performance, and ensure high availability and scalability of our IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to support development and deployment.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise the performance, security, and availability of our servers and services.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration of new features and updates.
- Implement and maintain logging, monitoring, and alerting systems to detect and respond to issues promptly.
- Continuously evaluate and adopt new tools and technologies to improve our DevOps practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platform AWS and cloudfare.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker.
- Proficiency in scripting languages- Python & Bash.
- Knowledge of Linux and bash scripting.
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Chef.
- Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools like Jenkins, GitLabI, or CircleCI.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
