Role Overview
We are looking for a Core DevOps Engineer responsible for building and managing CI/CD pipelines, automating deployments, and maintaining scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure. The role involves close collaboration with Development, QA, and Infrastructure teams to improve release efficiency and system reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment.
- Automate application deployments across development, testing, and production environments.
- Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS and support infrastructure scalability and availability.
- Work with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and application deployment.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or similar tools.
- Manage source code repositories, branching strategies, and release processes using Git.
- Develop automation scripts using Shell/PowerShell/Python.
- Set up and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
- Troubleshoot build, deployment, infrastructure, and production issues.
- Collaborate with developers and QA teams to improve deployment processes and release automation.
- Follow DevOps best practices around security, reliability, and environment management.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in DevOps and CI/CD pipeline development.
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins, AWS DevOps, GitLab CI/CD, or similar tools.
- Good knowledge of AWScloud services.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
- Strong understanding of Linux/Unix systems and scripting.
- Knowledge of Git, networking, monitoring, and cloud security.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Computer Science / Information Technology or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Cloud, Infrastructure, or Software Engineering.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD, cloud platforms, containerization, automation, and infrastructure management.
