We are seeking an
Azure Cloud Systems Engineer in
Suitland, MD to design, implement, and maintain enterprise Azure architecture supporting Zero Trust tools, identity services, and security monitoring platforms
.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Engineer Azure resource groups, subscriptions, networking, virtual machines, identity integrations, and cloud baselines.
- Design hybrid-cloud integration supporting on-premises and cloud-based Zero Trust platforms.
- Provide cloud architecture documentation, diagrams, integration schemas, and operational support.
- Implement automation, monitoring, security baselines, and cloud compliance standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, MIS, or in a related discipline with 8+ years of experience or a Master's degree with 6+ years of experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance.
- 7+ years Azure engineering experience, including automation and cloud-native architectures.
- 5+ years Cloud platform management, deployment, and monitoring (AWS, Azure).
- Skilled with PowerShell, Python, ARM/Bicep, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience supporting RMF and cloud security compliance.
Required Certifications:
- Active IAT or IAM Level II/III DoD approved 8570 baseline certification, such as Security+ CE or CASP certification.
- Azure Administrator or Solutions Architect certification.
Salary range is $130,000–$150,000, depending on experience.
