SRE Engineer‑Cloud Infrastructure & Kubernetes
Location: Santa Clara, CA Employment Type: Full‑time
Role Summary
Join our US‑based engineering team to build, operate and secure cloud‑native infrastructure. You will own Kubernetes platform stability, observability, infrastructure‑as‑code delivery and DevSecOps implementation for local cloud environments.
Responsibilities
- Deliver and maintain cloud infrastructure including compute, network, and storage resources.
- Maintain Kubernetes stability, lead Tier 2 incident handling and root‑cause‑analysis (RCA), and participate in an on‑call rotation.
Note: All on‑call arrangements, including standby allowances and compensation, are fully compliant with FLSA and applicable California labor laws.
- Optimize observability systems (monitoring / alerting) and define SLIs / SLOs for platform reliability.
- Implement DevSecOps practices and local security policies. This US‑based role owns the engineering implementation and operations of security governance within the US environment.
- Manage infrastructure following IaC (Terraform) standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Communications, Information Security or a related field is preferred. Equivalent professional work experience will be fully considered in lieu of a formal degree.
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience in systems operations, SRE, or DevOps roles.
- Proficiency with Linux, TCP/IP networking, Kubernetes, and major public cloud platforms (AWS / GCP).
- Practical experience using IaC tooling (Terraform) plus scripting languages (Python / Go / Shell).
- Strong sense of ownership for system reliability; proven ability to conduct thorough root‑cause analysis for production incidents.
- Ability to work on‑site in Santa Clara, USA and support scheduled on‑call rotation.
