Job Description:
As a senior DevOps Engineer at Fluent Health, you will help us build and scale our cloud
infrastructure - by both getting your hands dirty with configuring the automation that
manages our servers as well as working with the rest of the DevOps team to maintain
consistency and shared knowledge. Its a dynamic startup environment where you'll be
able to make fundamental decisions that would help our infra scale to a global level, but
also be nimble enough to change direction when business requirements arise.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with stakeholders while leading the team and facilitating deployments without
downtime.
• Assist in architecting our current and future large-scale cloud infrastructure.
• Maintain security and compliance for our servers, following healthcare standards and
audits.
• Continue building and scaling our infrastructure while ensuring high availability and high
reliability.
Requirements
Qualifications:
• Significant experience maintaining Kubernetes clusters.
• Knowledge of CI/CD systems and zero downtime deployment techniques.
• Strong leadership skills, problem-solving skills, analytical skills, and communication
skills.
• Knowledge of network engineering - configuring VPCs, firewalls and DNS zones.
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (terraform).
• Monitoring and logging solutions experience (Prometheus / OpenTelemetry).
• Hands on knowledge of GCP apis - GKE, VPCs, cloud build etc.
• Experience maintaining container registries with binary authorization.
• Great interpersonal skills and intercultural communication abilities.
• Ability to function in and lead an Agile environment with frequent releases.
• Familiarity with healthcare industry standards and security requirements.
