Job description:
We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer with around 2 years of experience to join our dynamic team at EEPL. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in cloud infrastructure management, containerization, continuous integration, and monitoring systems. You will play a critical role in managing, developing, and optimizing our cloud-based infrastructure to ensure seamless and reliable services.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure, primarily on AWS, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using industry best practices to facilitate continuous integration and deployment.
- Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot applications in containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Implement and manage monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Ensure adherence to the principle of least privilege by managing AWS IAM roles and policies.
- Utilize GitHub for source code management and version control.
- Work on microservices architecture, ensuring efficient and scalable application design.
- Focus on cloud cost optimization, implementing strategies to reduce unnecessary expenditure.
- Handle rollbacks and system monitoring to ensure smooth deployments and minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in GitHub, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS EC2, and AWS IAM.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline best practices and tools.
- Understanding of microservices architecture and cloud cost optimization strategies.
- Knowledge of security best practices, particularly the principle of least privilege.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Compensation:
- 15 days paid vacation.
