Job Description: We are looking for a highly skilled Freelance DevOps Engineer who can work remotely and join us immediately. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps, AIOps, and related technologies, with extensive experience in managing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, and cloud infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
- Deploy and manage applications using Docker containers on Hetzner Cloud.
- Utilize Terraform for infrastructure as code and Kubernetes for orchestration.
- Configure and manage Helm Charts and various ingress controllers like Traefik.
- Administer databases including Postgres, MongoDB, and Kafka.
- Collaborate with development teams working with NodeJs and Python to ensure seamless integration and deployment.
- Handle GPU instances and ensure the microservices architecture is robust and scalable.
- Manage git repositories, enforce git policies, and administer GitLab.
- Implement deployment strategies such as Blue/Green and Canary deployments.
- Set up and maintain monitoring and logging systems using Prometheus, Grafana, and OMD.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of the infrastructure.
Technical Requirements:
- Extensive experience with DevOps and AIOps practices.
- Proficiency in GitLab, CI/CD, and Docker containers.
- Strong knowledge of Hetzner Cloud services.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm Charts, and Traefik.
- Database administration skills for Postgres, MongoDB, and Kafka.
- Proficiency in NodeJs and Python.
- Experience with microservices architecture and GPU instances.
- Ability to manage git repositories and enforce git policies.
- Experience with GitLab administration.
- Familiarity with deployment strategies like Blue/Green and Canary deployments.
- Strong skills in monitoring and logging using Prometheus, Grafana, and OMD.
