Tasks / Responsibilities:
- Manage and architect GCP environments while adhering to HSBCs high standards.
- Lead Looker administration and ensure effective integration with GCP tools like BQ and DataStudio.
- Oversee multiple GCP projects and provide technical guidance during integration phases.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure appropriate environment monitoring.
- Provide deployment support for development, test, UAT, and production environments.
- Drive continuous improvement in processes for customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
- Establish and document best practices for application initiation and deployment.
- Track and forecast environment requirements for sprint-based development and ensure automated setup.
Mandatory Skills:
- Looker Administration
- GCP (Google Cloud Platform) Application Solutions and tools (GCE, GAE, GKE, VPC, DNS, CDN)
- Experience with GCP IaaS
- Strong multitasking and communication skills
- Cloud-based native data stores and databases
- Experience working in agile and DevOps environments using tools like Confluence and JIRA
Desirable Skills:
- GCP Solution Architect certification
- Knowledge of other cloud platforms (AWS, GCP)
- Experience with Juniper Ingestion and data feeds
Qualifications:
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Science, Computer Science, Information Technology or Engineering.
- Certifications: GCP Solution Architect certification is desirable.
