About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to take ownership of the design, provisioning, deployment, and operational excellence of our API Management platform.
Our API platform is built on Azure API Management (APIM) and serves as the central gateway for internal and external API integrations across the organization. You will be responsible for maintaining and evolving the APIM infrastructure, automating deployments, enforcing API governance, and working closely with development teams to ensure our platform is secure, scalable, and highly available.
Pre-Requisites
Azure API Management
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure API Management
• Experience designing and managing API policies, products, backends, and the developer portal
• Good understanding of Azure networking (VNETs, Private Endpoints), identity/access management (Entra ID, Managed Identities), Key Vault, and security concepts
Pulumi
• Hands-on experience provisioning Azure infrastructure with Pulumi
• Experience managing infrastructure through code and version control
• Understanding of reusable components, state management, and infrastructure lifecycle management
CI/CD & GitOps
• Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions / GitHub Workflows
• Practical experience with Argo CD
Integration Knowledge
• Solid understanding of REST, OpenAPI/Swagger, and API security patterns
• Experience designing integration solutions connecting APIs, backend services, and event-driven systems
• Knowledge of integration patterns
