Cloud Engineer – Senior position
HOW A CLOUD ENGINEER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
In this role, you'll join our team, providing high-quality, cost-effective cloud solutions to our clients. Be part of a dynamic environment where your expertise in cloud operations will drive significant enhancements in the efficiency and effectiveness of our customers’ operations. As a Cloud Engineer on our team, you will be responsible for distributed and managed services automating the installation, configuration and maintenance of platform services.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Migrate existing CloudFormation code to Terraform
- Develop reusable Terraform modules and maintain version-controlled infrastructure
- Work with DevOps, Security, and Engineering teams to implement CI/CD and deployment strategies
What you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience
- 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or DevOps
- Strong proficiency with Terraform (writing modules, managing state, workspaces, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud provider
- Experience with DevOps tools and utilities to include Github, Ansible & CDK
- Ability to work effectively in a Linux-based development environment
- Familiarity with containers and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong knowledge of networking, security, and IAM in the cloud
- Proficient in at least one scripting language
Nice to haves:
- Terraform SME
- Hands-on experience with multiple cloud providers such as [AWS, Azure, OCI, or GCP]
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
- Hands on experience with python
- Knowledge of containerization

Active TS/SCI with a Polygraph level clearance.
