Role Description
We are seeking a
DevOps Engineering Lead to provide technical ownership for containerized applications running on
GCP, with a strong focus on
GKE and
GitHub. This role will lead how applications are built, deployed, and operated, supporting the delivery lifecycle from code commit through production traffic.
The ideal candidate brings a systems-first mindset, emphasizing reliability, security, operational excellence, automation, and effective collaboration across development and infrastructure teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the technical direction and operation of containerized application deployments on GCP.
- Lead the engineering and operational management of the GKE environment supporting production workloads.
- Apply strong GKE expertise to support reliable, secure, and scalable application deployments.
- Use GitHub as a core platform supporting application source control and deployment workflows.
- Drive automation across application build, deployment, and operational processes.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and distributed application issues affecting workloads running on GCP and GKE.
- Promote reliability, security, and operational excellence across the application delivery lifecycle.
- Partner effectively with development and infrastructure teams, providing technical leadership and clear documentation.
