This opportunity is a 1 year fixed term contract with a high percentage to be converted to a permanent contract.

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to support our main project for Singapore airport.
In this role, you will be responsible for system integration and will work extensively with various software tools to ensure seamless operations. You will contribute to the implementation of advanced systems technology in biometrics, specifically for security and border control applications.
What you'll be also expected to do:
• Build and maintain installation scripts for IDEMIA products and COTS
• Define test strategy, test plan and tests scenarios. Ensure requirement traceability and complete coverage
• Definition of the integration platform & Installation of the system on it: Windows PC (Windows, Windows Server 2019), Linux Servers, Specific devices such as biometric sensors, Databases on Oracle 19C MQ SQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL, Complex software modules developed by IDEMIA,
• Perform system integration test, system validation test, load and performance test, and high availability test
• Investigate on the issues by analyzing logs during test execution, report incidents through configuration management tool and monitor them until closure
• Produce documents related to installation, testing or operational and administration
• Provide training to customer and handover system to maintenance support team.
You'll be successful if you have:
• Between 1-3 years of related systems integration and DevSecOps experience
• Good knowledge in different OS like Windows, Windows server and Linux (RedHat, Oracle)
• Strong in Scripting (Perl, Bash, Power shell, python...) and Database (Oracle or SQLserver…).
• Strong knowledge in Ansible/YAML and configuration management tool (SVN, GIT, JIRA) is necessary.
• Automation and repetitive tasks to improve efficiency. Implement and maintain automated testing, monitoring, and deployment solutions.
Even better if you have:
• Knowledge on building and deploying application in Kubernetes, Docker
• Experience on installing and configuring COTS application servers like Wildfly, Weblogic, Tomcat etc
• Produce documents related to installation, testing or operational and administration.
• Provide training to customer and handover system to maintenance support team.
• Be curious, versatile, dynamic, rigorous, great autonomy and a team player, as well as a spirit of analysis and synthesis.
• Certified on any one of the Kubernetes deployments will be an added advantage
Prior working experience in government environment will be advantageous
