Oracle Customer Success Services is a One Oracle approach to ensuring customer success, through a broad set of services and solutions that are supported by certified and experienced implementers, helping to accelerate the entire customer journey. Customer Success Services provides a customer-centric delivery and support-integrated service, in conjunction with Oracle Development. As a sophisticated database support engineer of customer success service organization, you will be responsible to deliver support and services on database, engineered systems and cloud technologies to our premium customers. The support and services covers the entire life cycle of the product starting from architecture design, implementation, optimization, maintenance etc. The role involves working with the customers and ensure they get the best out of our products.

Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable DevOps practices and solutions to enhance development, deployment, and operations processes.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, ensuring seamless integration and deployment of code across various environments.
Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
Automate repetitive tasks and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
Optimize existing systems and processes to enhance performance, scalability, and reliability.
Implement and manage monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to ensure system health and performance.
Oversee the provisioning, configuration, and management of cloud infrastructure and on-premises systems.
Ensure infrastructure is secure, scalable, and cost-effective, utilizing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Implement and manage containerization and orchestration solutions, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth and efficient deployment processes.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior DevOps engineers and other team members.
Facilitate communication between teams to align on DevOps practices and objectives.
Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex issues related to DevOps tools, processes, and infrastructure.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement solutions to prevent recurrence of incidents.
Participate in on-call rotation to provide support for critical incidents and outages.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for DevOps processes, systems, and best practices.
Prepare and present reports on DevOps metrics, performance, and improvements to senior management and stakeholders.
Stay up-to-date with emerging DevOps technologies, trends, and best practices.
Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to enhance DevOps processes and infrastructure.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the DevOps team.
Strong knowledge of DevOps principles and practices, including CI/CD, automation, and monitoring.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and build tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex technical challenges.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
Experience:
3-6 years of experience in DevOps, with a strong background in CI/CD, automation, and infrastructure management.
Proven experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Extensive experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
