Job Description:
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining efficient, scalable, and reliable CI/CD pipelines, managing infrastructure, and ensuring smooth collaboration between development and operations teams. You will work closely with software engineers, QA teams, and system administrators to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery of software products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automating the build, testing, and deployment of applications.
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) to ensure scalability, reliability, and security.
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide solutions to improve overall efficiency.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration between code and infrastructure.
- Implement and manage containerization solutions (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Automate infrastructure and application deployments, focusing on scalability and performance.
- Ensure system security by implementing proper monitoring, alerting, and logging practices.
- Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and performance tuning.
- Problem-Solving: Address complex issues related to system performance, deployment, and automation. Provide expert guidance and solutions to resolve technical challenges.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for architecture designs, processes, and procedures. Ensure that documentation is up-to-date and accessible.
- Innovation: Stay current with emerging DevOps technologies and practices. Evaluate and recommend new tools and methodologies to enhance our DevOps capabilities.
- Drive continuous improvement in operational efficiency, automating repetitive tasks and improving deployment processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in DevOps, system administration, or cloud engineering.
- Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, GitLab CI, etc.
- Solid understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Proficient with Git for source code management.
- Experience with Jira and ServiceNow for task and incident management.
- Competence in a wide range of IT skills, including networking, systems administration, data protection, information security, and CI/CD tooling.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen attention to detail.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or Datadog.
- Enthusiastic learner with the ability to teach and mentor teammates and cross-functional partners.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Must have deployed complete projects developed on MERN, MEAN, ASP.NET, and PHP, etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with serverless architecture and microservices.
- Knowledge of security best practices, including vulnerability scanning and patch management.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Certifications in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud are a plus.
