Job Description
Experian is looking for an Experienced DevOps Engineer to join the EMS -Experian Marketing Services UKI business. This role is an exciting opportunity to ensure the successful delivery, operations and development of development programmes and initiatives. Experian Marketing Services has embarked on a series of digital and cloud transformation initiatives some of which include: next generation pragmatic automation, AI, new ways of working and best practices to benefit our clients.
This role reports into Hyderabad office and reporting to Engineering EMS UKI for project assignments. EMS UKI Engineering projects for Cloud will be reporting to EMS Delivery Leader in the Engineering unit of EMS BU.
Duties & Responsibilities
Ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven DevOps track record and will be able to construct a DevOps pipeline for multiple projects
- Design, build and maintain the CI/CD processes
- Define infrastructure using IAAS automation tools (Terraform, Ansible)
- Maintain containerization platform to manage application configuration and deployments using EKS
- Involved in all aspects of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- ‘Automate everything’ mindset and approach
- Support the organization in ensuring infrastructure costs are managed and optimized
- Improve maturity of infrastructure observability
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience with Linux and Windows
- Good understanding of the IaC principles and tools like Terraform
- Experience with SCM tools and platforms like Git, Bitbucket or GitHub
- Desirable to have understanding of the TCP/IP based networks from OS perspective and able to troubleshoot connectivity issues
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Cloud services - practical experience with management of cloud infrastructure in AWS
- Familiarity with containerized application architecture and deployment – Docker, Kubernetes, EKS
- CI/CD – in depth experience of helping teams adopt CI/CD tooling and technologies.
- Source Control – manage code via source control tools – GIT
- NoSQL data stores such as MongoDB
- Ability to track down problems – identifying and fixing root cause
- Lean Agile / Scrum, experience of working in a software development environment
Technical Documentation Skills: using wiki to log changes, write procedures and instructions
