Hackajob has partnered with a company that offers an AI-powered software platform designed to improve efficiency and visibility in the construction industry. We are seeking a DevOps Engineer and a Site Reliability Engineer to join their growing team.
Role: DevOps Engineer / SRE
Location: NYC (hybrid or remote)
Compensation: $130K to $190K per year - depends on experience plus benefits
Direct Hire: Permanent Full Time
What you will do and achieve:
- Design, implement, and manage scalable, resilient, and secure infrastructure on AWS to support our expanding applications and services.
- Collaborate with development teams to enhance CI/CD pipelines, ensuring seamless integration and delivery of code developed in Node.js, TypeScript, and React.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and maintain high availability and reliability across our platform.
- Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to oversee our AWS environment.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of security best practices throughout our infrastructure and application lifecycle.
Who you are:
- An experienced DevOps/SRE Engineer with 3+ years of hands-on experience in managing and scaling cloud infrastructure, preferably on AWS.
- Proficient in Node.js, TypeScript, and React, with the ability to collaborate closely with development teams to optimize their workflows and deployments.
- Experienced in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, with a strong understanding of modern DevOps tools and practices.
- Skilled in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
