identifying, predicting and defining threats, empowering security and DevOps teams to make
proactive security decisions.
We are seeking for an experienced Cloud Engineer to join at our Headquarters-Jersey City, NJ
Roles And Responsibilities
- Engineering, automating, and orchestrating system provisioning and maintenance processes using modern cloud tools and technologies.
- Experience with listing solutions on Azure/GCP marketplace.
- Provide proactive administration of resources utilizing observability, automation, and configuration management tools. Respond to and remediate infrastructure outages and problems. Proactively improve and fill in operational gaps.
- Works day to day with the Edge Security organization to define required security posture, enhance controls and remediate issues.
- Manage system migrations and system upgrades to create and deploy new cloud environments
- Understanding the needs for new initiatives to build scalable, distributed and high-performance computing cloud-based platform solutions.
- Performing system administration tasks including configuration, systems monitoring, troubleshooting, and support while innovating to automate as much as possible
- Educating teams on the implementation of new cloud-based initiatives, providing associated training as required.
- Plan the execution of the projects for feature delivery, distribute tasks, track deliverables.
- Recommend solutions that align with the business needs and requirements
- On-call production support.
- Ideas and optimization efficiency to reduce billing.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of marketplace offerings and process of making an offering live
- Knowledge of design, implementation of distributed applications
- Knowledge of processes and methodology relating to large-scale enterprise architecture solutions, including security concerns, high availability methods, multiple platforms, hardware considerations, network design, monitoring solutions, virtualization, performance, capacity planning, and information management practices
- Experience with either AWS/GCP/Azure and cloud architecture.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools and methodologies, Terraform is recommended
- Amazon Certified Solutions Architect, Associate or higher is a plus
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required
AWS Certification is a Must (Solution Architect Preferred)
