Job Description:
As the DevOps Manager at Buddy Deals, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our development and operational processes. You will lead a team of DevOps engineers, driving the implementation of best practices in continuous integration, deployment, and infrastructure management. This is a hybrid role based in Delhi, allowing for a mix of remote and in-office work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and management of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) to ensure scalability and reliability.
- CI/CD Implementation: Develop and maintain continuous integration and deployment pipelines to streamline software delivery processes.
- Monitoring & Performance: Implement monitoring tools and practices to ensure high availability and performance of applications and infrastructure.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and product teams to ensure smooth deployment and integration processes.
- Security Practices: Enforce security best practices within the DevOps framework, including vulnerability assessments and remediation.
- Incident Management: Lead incident response efforts, conducting root cause analyses and implementing corrective actions.
- Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements within cloud infrastructure and deployment processes.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in DevOps, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI), and scripting languages (Python, Bash).
- Understanding of Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile and Scrum practices is preferred.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, etc.) are a plus.
