Role Overview: NAYAN is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves managing and optimizing on-premises servers and cloud infrastructure, supporting cloud migration, and ensuring that our operations align with our strategic goals. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment and be passionate about leveraging DevOps practices to drive success.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Management: Oversee the optimization, maintenance, and troubleshooting of both on-premises and cloud-based systems.
- Cloud Migration: Develop and execute strategies for migrating applications and services to cloud platforms, ensuring seamless integration.
- Performance and Automation: Enhance system performance through automation, monitor system health, and manage incident response.
- Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with the Cloud and DevSecOps Architect to implement best practices in DevOps and security, and align technology operations with company objectives.
Essential Background:
- Technical Expertise: Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
- Scripting Skills: Proficiency in Python, Bash, PowerShell, and Ruby.
- Configuration Knowledge: Familiarity with YAML and JSON for configuration management.
- Experience: At least 7+ years in DevOps or a related field, with a proven track record in system management, cloud migration, and automation.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong analytical skills.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts and strategies effectively.
Preferred Background (Non-Essential):
- AI/ML Knowledge: Understanding of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning is a plus.
