Job Title: Senior Cloud Engineer – AWS GenAI Platform

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled
Senior Cloud Engineer with expertise in designing and implementing scalable cloud-based solutions using
AWS services. This role is crucial for the development of a GenAI application on AWS, requiring hands-on experience in
cloud infrastructure, automation, observability, and operational cost monitoring. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in
Python and
Java, along with knowledge of modern cloud technologies, specifically in
AWS. This role is onsite and based in
New Jersey.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable and reusable model execution components using AWS core services.
- Develop and implement a cost monitoring component to enable API usage tracking.
- Design and deploy notification and alerting systems leveraging modern cloud technologies.
- Automate operational tasks and workload distribution within public cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS.
- Streamline production deployments using CloudFormation and Terraform, integrated with existing CI/CD pipelines.
- Design, develop, and integrate observability components for a cloud-based GenAI application.
- Participate in team-wide application architecture reviews and present solutions and designs.
Qualifications & Core Skills - Education:
- Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
- Experience:
- 10+ years of professional experience in software development and implementation.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience working on cloud-based platforms (AWS), preferably in Financial Services.
- Technical Skills:
- Demonstrable experience in enterprise data solutions.
- Proficiency in hands-on development using Python and Java (priority in that order).
- Strong understanding of AWS core services and architecture best practices.
- Experience in developing, deploying, and debugging cloud-based applications on AWS.
- Experience integrating vendor products using application APIs.
- Certifications:
- AWS Certified Developer – Associate or above.
