To play a hands-on role in leading, developing, and maintaining DevOps processes for company products. Deeply familiar with the full lifecycle of the product development process. Has a continuous improvement mindset, and produces well-designed, efficient, and maintainable processes for multiple product families. Produces and aligns with backend specifications, and aligns with relevant stakeholders like product, UI, and Backend leads to ensure DevOps deliverables are well integrated and synchronized with overall solutions and processes.
Skills
- 4 - 6 years of hands-on experience with AWS, and optionally Microsoft Azure, as well as cloud experience in product release operations.
- Experience as DevOps engineer for On-premises, Cloud, and Hybrid environments.
- Experience in implementing CI/CD in Github, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar for Enterprise web/desktop software
- Experience in Continuous Testing / Continuous Monitoring Technologies
- Experience in Building and Maintaining Dev, Staging, and Production environments.
- Experience with orchestration tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and similar IaC technologies
- Experience in Git and other SCM tools, crafting branching strategies to meet product & business needs
- Proven work experience with Python, PowerShell, and/or any other scripting technologies, automated software installs and upgrades
- Proven work experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization technologies
- Experience with managing single-tenant and multi-tenant SaaS/PaaS applications is preferred
- Inclination to practical decision-making with changing contexts
- Experienced in Agile/Scrum development process, managing backlogs, and addressing tech debt systematically.
- Excellent team management skills are required.
