Job Description

As a DevOps Engineer, you will contribute to the definition of some real-time multiplayer games features to ensure reliable, sustainable, secure, and cost-effective operations.

You will also help drive continual improvements to our engineering standards, practices, and tools. We are looking for a highly energetic and focused individual excited by solving system stability and efficiency challenges in a highly distributed system handling heavy scale, with an innate desire for proactive and efficient automation.

Responsibilities

● Maintain the Production Uptime & All SLAs for real-time, High Scale, Round Clock Systems..

● Develop/Execute scenario-specific play-books with high accuracy and efficiency.

● Implement & Maintain the DevOps Tools & Culture.

● Plan & Manage the DevOps Projects organization-wide.

● Participate in the on-call rotations and keep unblocking the system & people.

Skillset

● 6+ years of experience with DevOps tools & technologies, Exposure to managing & delivering DevOps projects.

● Proficiency in Linux Environment, with hands-on troubleshooting skills of OS, Performance Optimisations & Network related issues.

● Proficiency and mindset to see the Infrastructure as a Code using Terraform or Ansible.

● Working experience and a detailed understanding of common AWS services like EC2, EBS, ELBs, S3, VPC, IAM, RedShift, EKS, RDS, Route53, CloudFront, etc.

Any AWS Certification will be considered as an added value.

● Working experience in the production-grade Kubernetes ecosystem.

● EKS, Helm, Spinnaker, Prometheus
● CKA will be considered a plus.

● Proficiency in scripting ( Python preferred Or Bash).

Coding Experience will be considered a plus.

● Hands-on experience with CI/CD systems and Orchestration tools.

Jenkins, Spinnaker, etc.

● Hands-on experience with industry-standard monitoring alerting tools.

CloudWatch, TIG Stack, Prometheus, Alert Manager, PagerDuty, Nagios, Monit.

● Hands-on experience with industry-standard Log Analytics Platforms like ELK & Anomaly Detection tools.

● Good understanding and experience of Databases like MongoDB, MySQL, CouchBase, ScyllaDB will be a plus.

● Good understanding and experience of commonly used Distributed Systems components like Kafka, Redis, RabbitMQ, Config Management, Zookeeper & Service Discovery Systems.

● Experience with Software Version Control systems, especially GIT.

● Knowledge of WebServers and Load Balancers.
