About this position:
We are eagerly seeking candidates with 3 to 8 years’ experience for a DevOps Engineer to help us build functional systems that improve customer experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for deploying product updates, identifying production issues, and implementing integrations that meet our customers' needs. Impact you will realize: Job Responsibilities
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery.
- Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure.
- Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
- Implement and manage continuous integration and delivery systems and methodologies.
- Automate manual processes to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
- Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes.
- Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
- Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks.
- Collaborate with other teams to understand their requirements and provide infrastructure solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.
- Document and design various processes; update existing processes.
- Provide technical support and guidance to team members.
Key skills you will require: Primary Skills
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
- Proficiency with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Hands-on experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
- Understanding of version control systems (Git).
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios).
- Strong scripting skills (Python, GoLang, Ruby, Bash).
- Problem-solving attitude and ability to work in a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
